The Chicago Bears headquarters at Halas Hall opened its new and renovated areas for the team, staff, media and public. The design-build team of Peter Hyde Design, Provost Studio, Cortina Productions and Chicago Scenic Studios created an interpretive approach for the experiential exhibits and graphics that reinforce the history and prestige of the team as well as build on the sense of pride in being a Chicago Bear.
Peter Hyde Design created a design that provides cohesion throughout the building and underscores the organization’s 90 plus year history, integrity and dedication to their fans and the city of Chicago. The design team added experiential enhancements in the lobby and the new public event space as well as conference rooms, the press conference room, dining hall, weight room, hallways and entrance to the media room.
The design incorporates four themes throughout all the venues: Greatness, Passion, Tradition and Game-day. The themes are introduced immediately at the entrance of the event center, which is a public space, and leads visitors through colorful displays that answer the question “What does it mean to be a Chicago Bear?”
