The newly renovated Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame in New Castle, Indiana, opened refreshed and expanded exhibits in December 2024. Peter Hyde Design was proud to lead exhibition design for the new spaces, with content development by Fleming Museum Consulting, media production and AV integration by Silver Oaks, and exhibit fabrication by Pinpoint.
The project scope includes the 6,600 square foot expansion of the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame with a new exhibit gallery, expanded Hall of Fame Inductee Hall and refurbishment of existing displays and interactives. The new gallery features a balance of interactive exhibits, artifact displays, and spectacle to celebrate the game. At "Game Day," fans can immerse themselves 270 degrees in the Boy's and Girl's High School State Championships. Additional interactives include opportunities to referee famous games in Indiana history, measure your own jump height against the greats, and test your basketball trivia knowledge. With an expansive artifact and memorabilia collection, the Hall of Fame offers visitors a new appreciation for the significant legacy of basketball in Indiana.
